Are We Really Hindi-Chini Bhai Bhai?

Hindi-chini Bhai-Bhai- This phrase was coined during Nehru's regime...But Are We Really as the phrase states? Look at your conscience and ask whether it is really true? I give you a guarantee that it will say NO!!! After all what can you expect from a neighbour who is jealous of your progress and will not allow you to proceed any further...This is the real funda here...Every one acts for themselves....But we are just exactly the opposite...Jai Gandhigiri!!!!

The recent Obama visit to the capital of the Dragons proved it...It is extremely so openly visible that India's foreign policy is being dictated by external powers...India is being held ransom at many points and all the Indian forces are being subdued...(I am not saying military)...Obama appointed China to be the monitor of South Asian policies...Why not India? Is it our petty politics? Is it our constant bickerings with the international fora to solve the Kashmir issue? Why are we so incapable of solving it ourselves? The best solution would be to accept LOC as the international border and have our troops monitor it along with our amicable neighbor Pakistan...Sounds feasible?I guess not. Our external policies with Pakistan is being held ransom by ISI, which might be acting on behalf of China. Nobody can deny Chinese involvement in Pakistan's foreign policies..Pakistan acted strongly when the Uighur Muslims migrated to Pakistan during the civil war, but Pakistan returned them to China. Now these Uighur want to migrate to India..But India is hospitable, allowing them to migrate...Congo for being so humane!!!!We are showing our quality but we are also showing our weakness..India's constant bickering in the international fora about the Kashmir issue indicates that we are weak and cannot take decisions of our own...It is not the international powers but we ourselves should sort it out...But ISI should be stripped of its powers. If not, you can bid this plan a sweet good bye.

Our policies in Asia, for the most of the time, being vetoed by China. Why? A jealous neighbour is ill to afford. China is bent on crippling us.It does not want us to grow. They consider us to be a threat both economically and politically if not militarily. Maybe thats why China doesnt want us to be a part of the UN Security Council.

Arunachal Pradesh is another issue we have with China. It is just doing a pervert act. A flirtatious act to make India look foolish in the eyes of the world. It is only that they regard AP as its own as it is named South Tibet and and their not so normal relations with the Tibetan Buddhists. Some Chinese journals claimed that India has not learnt from the 1962 lesson. True, we lost the war then, but they retreated. their contention: it was our fault that it was war and it were we that halted the trade and economic relations with them...And it is the same now. They do not want AP..they just want to dispose off our threat.. Recently even Google maps showed parts of Ladakh as Chinese territory and AP to be a territory under dispute. This, of course on the Chinese version. this means even the web search giant shows different maps to china and India...The problems that they have with the Dalai Lama are theirs and it is our gentleness that we have accepted the buddhist monk into our culture and country..If Dalai Lama were asked to leave, would the problems be solved?

No..It would not. The world looks to both china and India to take them out of the current recession..If China were to have that credit alone, it would greatly benefit them and China would become another US...The markets are full of Chinese equipments, especially in India, selling their products for less cost than Indian equivalents. To alert our citizens that these products are scrap materials or they are these products which did not sell in their local markets..Why raise their economy when we can maintain ours?

Today, china is encouraging bilateral trade between our countries, in spite of the various disputes..True, both countries would hugely benefit from this trade, but we should sit and talk tough on other issues too...Though our economies need to persist together and industries should spread, China should not be a monopolistic country..Though the effects are not seen much and there has been huge benefits till now, instead of us quarreling over virtual issues, we should try and solve them...But at the same time we need to show them that we are tough by acting toughly on some issues...Most of the times, it is the media that hypes it all and blows things out of their proportion.

So what exactly what we should do? We should amicably explain that AP remains our integral part..We should look more into the development of the North-Eastern states, improve the infrastructure over there..Why should we really neglect those states? We are busy improving the infrastructure...the West has Mumbai, the South Bangalore, The East Kolkata, the North has Delhi, The North West has Jaipur, The South East has Hyderabad and Chennai, The South West has Kochi and Mangalore...But in the North East, there is no city worth mentioning. Why? Are they not parts of our country? Why do we neglect them? Why should we not provide them adequate infrastructure, if not much? why do we give AP its prominence, only when the Dalai Lama visits it?
Secondly, instead of barring the black market trade of chines toys, we should implement a trade tax, a little higher from their Indian counterparts and we should insist on quality..Also, the university exchange of our students to better understand our cultures would be also advantageous. The world is looking at us to take them out...Lets take them out together...Who has told that democracy and communism cant be friends? It is only an agenda that was propagated by the US and the erstwhile Soviet Union...We should create our own lessons and act maturely....We should try and make the Hindi-chini Bhai Bhai phrase come really true....It is not so true now...I am only asking India to be tough from the inside and not let its foreign and external policies be dictated by external powers...We should show the world that we are not so weak as they deem us to be....!!!!Agreed China is sweet-talking us and is jealous of us and our growth....But we should sit at the tables and talk...If they still do not understand, retry!!!!This is the last thing we could do to honour Gandhigiri and say to him who is in the heavens, that we still follow humane measures and are not so weak!!!But we should say to those that hate us,

"Be good to us, we will accept you, Be bad to us, we shall teach you a lesson that you are likely to remember for atleast a century ahead!!!!"
